1) Which building typology are you searching?
I will be searching dormitories for students
2)Why are you researching this building topography?
I have always been interested in the college life away from home, even though I do not attend a school where dormitories are present. But I always wonder my life in one and so I would like to design one that meet students necessities into this school.
3) What is the specialty of this building type you would like to research?
I would like to research how student life is when one lives in a dorm and I would also like to know what a student approves or disapproves in a college dormitory.
4)What are the examples that you will be researching?
I will be researching from other schools through the internet or personally how does any college dormitory is available in terms of design, circulation, and student needs. What could be some of the things that some student wish their dorm could have that could possibly make their life easier.
5)What are your goals for working with this building type?
Goals for this building type are to maintain within the budget an to create a space that allows a minimum of 300 students to reside in this dorm.
6) What are the program elements that you see included at this point in your building?
May evolve once more research is done
